Happy Easter!
Designed by Rob Grootenboer
Rob has designed these robust rings in iron and silver/gold. He has developed a technique to retain the texture of the iron; with the solder taking on it’s own life and unique character on each and every ring.
Good Wood NYC
Wonderful wooden eco-jewellery
I found a wonderful site with beautiful wooden rings. Now that’s eco!
The company is called Simply Wood Rings and their website is http://www.simplywoodrings.com
After googling around in the world of wooden rings, I realised that the range is huge! (abroad, at least)
Now I am so excited to get a little bit of wood incorporated into our ecogold rings!
……Stay tuned this spring 😉
Another fantastic company are NY based Via Nativa. Their jewellery is made by economically disadvantaged artisans in Nicaragua, completely under Fairtrade guidelines.
The timber they use is recycled from construction sites and other such sources.
